Upcycle Fashion Week USA invites designers, stylists, custom creators, and vintage curators to apply to present work within our runway and presentation programming. As a platform centered on sustainable fashion, circular design, and cultural storytelling, Upcycle Fashion Week offers a professionally produced environment for creatives redefining fashion through reuse, craftsmanship, and conscious practice.

Upcycle Fashion Week USA is a flagship initiative of Sizzle Arts Foundation, supporting creative professionals who are shaping the future of fashion through sustainability, innovation, and cultural impact.

Who Can Apply

Applications are open to creative professionals working within sustainable, upcycled, circular, and vintage fashion, including:

• Fashion Designers (upcycled, sustainable, circular, or reconstructed collections)

• Stylists presenting curated looks, conceptual fashion stories, or cultural narratives

• Custom Designers & Makers specializing in handmade, reconstructed, or one-of-a-kind pieces

• Vintage Curators & Collectors presenting archival, rare, or styled vintage fashion

• Creative Fashion Collectives or collaborative teams

Applicants do not need to be internationally known. Selection is based on creative quality, sustainability alignment, presentation readiness, and overall fit within the program.

Presentation Formats

Selected participants may present their work in one of the following formats, based on curatorial review and program placement:

• Runway presentation

• Curated fashion showcase

• Styled presentation or fashion installation

• Vintage or archival fashion presentation

• Conceptual or narrative-driven fashion presentation

Final format placement is determined in collaboration with the production team to ensure the strongest presentation.

What Selected Participants Receive

Participants accepted into Upcycle Fashion Week USA receive a professionally managed experience aligned with established runway production standards, including:

• A curated presentation or runway slot during Upcycle Fashion Week

• Professional show production and coordination

• Model casting and runway management (where applicable)

• Backstage and presentation support

• Professional photo and video documentation

• Inclusion in official marketing, digital coverage, and event promotion

• Visibility within a sustainability-focused fashion and creative network

The platform is designed to balance creative integrity, visibility, and production quality.

Participation Fee

Upcycle Fashion Week USA operates as a professionally produced platform with year-round education, sustainability programming, and community engagement. To support production costs and maintain a high standard of execution, a participation fee is required for selected presenters.

The participation fee supports:

• Venue and production costs

• Runway and presentation logistics

• Technical production and staffing

• Backstage coordination and operations

• Media documentation and platform promotion

Participation fee details are provided upon acceptance, prior to confirmation. Transparency and clarity are prioritized throughout the process.

Selection Process

Applications are reviewed by the Upcycle Fashion Week curatorial and production team. Selection is based on:

• Creative vision and presentation concept

• Quality, craftsmanship, and originality

• Alignment with sustainability and circular fashion values

• Readiness for a professional presentation environment

• Cohesion within the overall program

Participation is by selection only, and space is limited to preserve quality and visibility for all participants.

How to Apply

Applicants should complete the official application form and submit:

• Creative role (designer, stylist, custom maker, vintage curator, etc.)

• Portfolio, website, or lookbook link

• Description of the collection, presentation, or concept

• Materials used and sustainability approach

• Previous presentation or runway experience (if applicable)

Early application is encouraged, as placements are limited and reviewed on a rolling basis.

• Final participation is confirmed after acceptance and fee agreement

• Participants are responsible for their garments, styling materials, and fittings

• Sustainable practices and responsible sourcing are strongly encouraged
